Dr. Shah received his Board Certification from the American Board of Radiology in 2010. In 2005 Dr. Shah received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Medicine and a Master of Public Health Degree from the University of Illinois, School of Public Health. Prior to that he completed his MBA from the University of Illinois, College of Business Administration.

Dr. Shah’s postgraduate training included internship and residency training at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. In July 2010 he completed Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology and Image Guided Medicine from Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA.

Dr. Shah has authored and co-authored several articles on various Radiology topics and is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, American College of Radiology, American College of Phlebology, and the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound to mention a few. His honors and awards include UIC Mathematics and Computer Science Scholarship (Louise Hay Award) and the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.

With the addition of Dr. Shah to the staff of Lake County Radiology Associates we will be expanding our Interventional expertise to include Interventional Oncology procedures.

In his free time Dr. Shah enjoys traveling, getting outdoors, and watching football. We are pleased to have Dr. Shah as part of the Lake County Radiology Associates staff.
