Certified by the American Board of Radiology in 1991, Dr. Foosaner earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology, with honors, from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee in 1982, and his Doctor of Medicine degree, with honors, in 1986 from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston, Houston, Texas. His postgraduate training included his Internship at Louis A. Weiss Memorial, Chicago, IL 1986-1987; Residency at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston/M.D. Anderson Research Cancer Center, Houston, Texas 1987-1991; and Fellowship in Body Imaging at Duke University Medical Center 1991-1992.
Dr. Foosaner is a member of the American College of Radiology; American Medical Association; American Roentgen Ray Society; Chicago Radiologic Society; Illinois Medical Society; and Radiologic Society of North America. He has co-authored and presented several papers, which have been published in the American Journal of Neuroradiology and Journal of Roentgenology. Past Treasurer and current President, Lake County Medical Society.
